Removal of stitches
In cases of using other techniques of closing wounds (tissue adhesive, absorbable surgical suture, non-absorbable suture, intradermal suture, healing of open wounds) the surgeon will inform the patient how to deal with them and when to remove them, if they are to be removed at all.
